Amanda Jewellery Receives TGO Carbon Footprint for Organisation Certification

BANGKOK — 21 OCTOBER 2026

Amanda Jewellery TGO Carbon Footprint for Organisation certification

Amanda Jewellery has officially received certification of its Carbon Footprint for Organisation (CFO) from the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO), the public organisation responsible for greenhouse gas management and carbon labelling in Thailand. The certification confirms the corporate carbon footprint Amanda verified earlier this year, with 2025 as its baseline year.

The results were announced following the TGO Board meeting No. 1/2570, held on 21 October 2026. Amanda Jewellery appears as the 51st company on the official list of 257 organisations certified under the Carbon Footprint for Organisation mark in this round, alongside companies from sectors including energy, steel, chemicals, food, banking and healthcare.

From verification to certification

In August, Amanda completed third-party verification of its 2025 greenhouse gas inventory, conducted by BSI Group (Thailand) Co., Ltd. under TGO's CFO programme. That verified inventory, which identified purchased electricity as the source of approximately 93 per cent of Amanda's Scope 1 and 2 emissions, was then submitted to TGO for review. Today's announcement completes that process: the figures are no longer only audited, they are formally certified by Thailand's national authority on greenhouse gas reporting.

Within our industry

Before this round, 53 businesses in Thailand's gem and jewellery industry had received CFO certification. Amanda now joins them, as part of a wider movement across the sector to measure and report emissions to a recognised national standard. We are grateful to the Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT) for its technical support throughout the programme.

What comes next

The official certificate will be available for download from TGO on 11 November 2026. TGO will also hold an award ceremony for certified organisations; the date has not yet been announced, and we will share further details once the schedule is confirmed.

The certified 2025 baseline is the reference point for the work ahead, including Amanda's commitment, as a member of the Watch & Jewellery Initiative 2030, to set science-based reduction targets. Certification measures where we stand. Reductions will be measured against it.

Why it matters

For the brands we manufacture for, a certified corporate footprint means data they can use in their own supply chain reporting with confidence. It is one more part of how we aim to operate: transparently, against recognised standards, and in a way our partners can verify.
