Our Approach

When Every Detail Is Refined, Your Designs Gain Strength

Our CAD development and prototyping capabilities help your team explore greater precision, complexity and distinction before production begins. Design ideas can be tested, strengthened and prepared for reliable fine jewellery manufacturing.

Working in close collaboration with your team, our CAD designers, goldsmiths and setters help engineer intricate ideas for beauty, durability and repeatable production. At the bench, microscopic craftsmanship — from handcrafted coronets to meticulous polishing — gives each piece the refinement your customers can see and feel.

The result is more ambitious collections, a stronger brand identity and greater creative freedom supported by technical control.

CNC Precision

Where Precision Engineering Unlocks New Creative Freedom

Our five- and seven-axis CNC machines allow your brand to develop jewellery, watch cases, bezels and buckles with the precision required for complex forms, sharp geometry and refined surfaces. Supported by highly trained specialists, this capability helps technically demanding designs become consistent, repeatable and reliable across production.

Skilled setters then work with stones cut specifically for these engineered structures, helping each component align with the design as intended. For your brand, this means stronger collections, smoother production and pieces that feel refined, precise and unmistakably well made.

The Refinement You Will See and Feel

Under microscopes, our goldsmiths and setters work to the level of precision required for fine and high jewellery, combining advanced technique with the warmth of true hand-finishing.

Capabilities

Our Capabilities in Detail

CAD Design & Product Development

Turning your ideas into engineered jewellery. Our CAD development, prototyping and high-resolution 3D printing capabilities help your concepts move from creative brief to production-ready design with accuracy and control. Using tools such as Rhino, Matrix and advanced 3D printing, we help refine structures, improve durability and resolve technical details before production begins. Our CAD team works as a collaborative studio rather than a group of isolated operators: files are shared, methods are taught internally, and work is reviewed across the team so complex collections can be developed in parallel with one consistent technical handwriting. This reduces uncertainty, shortens development time and gives your team the confidence to develop more ambitious collections.

Microscope-Assisted Goldsmithing and Setting

The refinement your customers can see and feel. Under microscopes, our goldsmiths and setters work to the level of precision required for fine and high jewellery. Coronets, joints, settings and final finishing are executed with exceptional care, helping each piece achieve the tactile quality and visual refinement your clients expect. By combining advanced techniques with traditional hand-finishing, we create jewellery that carries both technical discipline and the warmth of true craftsmanship.

CNC Department

Complexity made repeatable. Our CNC specialists support the production of intricate prototypes and technically demanding components where sharp geometry, consistency and refined surfaces are essential. This capability allows your brand to explore more complex forms, expand collections and bring technically ambitious ideas into production with greater control.

Pavé Setting

Refined pavé that strengthens the design. Our micro-pavé teams work under microscopes to achieve precise alignment, clean surfaces and controlled light return. Stones are selected, mapped and set with meticulous planning, while even experienced setters undergo internal training to meet Amanda's standards. For your collections, this means pavé that looks sharper, feels cleaner and supports the perceived value of the finished piece.

Diamond & Precious Stone Cutting

Stones cut for the design, not forced to fit it. Our cutters, goldsmiths and setters work closely together to support invisible settings, channel settings and complex stone layouts. We cut stones specifically for their final positions, including tapered baguettes, trilliants, trapezoids and custom pairs for solitaires. This tailored approach gives your design team greater freedom, knowing the stones can be prepared to support the architecture of the piece.

Kaizen Philosophy in Craftsmanship

Your products improve because our processes keep improving. Every day, we refine techniques in stone recutting, goldsmithing, CNC engineering, setting and product development. Through ongoing learning, testing and disciplined improvement, your collections benefit from processes that become more reliable, more precise and more efficient over time. Our approach supports smoother launches, fewer production issues and continuous improvement across the relationship.

Amanda works exclusively with natural diamonds. While we embrace the pinnacle of technology, our hearts remain devoted to the miracle of nature. Given the choice between a modern achievement and a billion-year-old wonder, we choose the wonder.

How We Work

From Brief to Finished Piece

01

Concept & Design

We engage early — interrogating sketches, CAD files, and references to align creative ambition with manufacturing reality before a single material is touched.

Concept & Design

02

Material Sourcing

Single Mine Origin gold, Kimberley Process diamonds, vetted coloured stones. Every material enters our workshop with full provenance documentation. Materials are documented before production begins. Diamonds are also examined using Dia-True technology at multiple stages to help protect clients from lab-grown contamination.

Material Sourcing

03

CNC Precision Machining

High-precision CNC and microcasting build the structural foundation — components engineered to tolerances no hand could replicate consistently.

04

Traditional Goldsmithing

Master goldsmiths assemble, solder and refine each piece by hand. This is where centuries of accumulated craft compound the precision of the previous stage.

Traditional Goldsmithing

05

Stone Setting

Microscope-assisted setting from pavé to invisible. Every stone is seated, secured, and inspected at magnification before the piece leaves the bench.

Stone Setting

06

Quality Control

Every finished piece is inspected by an independent QC team against your specification. Nothing ships that has not earned its place in your collection. All diamonds and finished jewellery are screened for synthetic diamond contamination at several stages of production.

Quality Control

Pre-Loved Diamonds

A Second Life for Diamonds

We source selected diamonds from vintage and pre-owned jewellery, assessing each stone individually before re-polishing or re-cutting it in-house where appropriate. This allows clients to support a more circular jewellery economy without compromising beauty, quality or craftsmanship.

Each stone is carefully assessed and, where appropriate, re-polished or re-cut in-house by our diamond-cutting specialists. Thanks to our in-house cutting expertise, each stone is optimised to realise its full potential, ensuring maximum material utilisation and preserving as much of the stone's character as possible.

We believe the most sustainable diamond is one that already exists.

Precision Lapidary

Your Vision, Unconstrained

Our in-house lapidary department covers two distinct capabilities. For coloured gemstones — sapphire, ruby, emerald and beyond — we cut to order: custom shapes, calibrated pairs, and bespoke geometry designed around your piece rather than adapted from a catalogue. For diamonds, we work with stones sourced from secondary market auctions, cutting them to the exact specifications your design requires — a responsible sourcing option that does not compromise on quality or precision.

Access to the World's Gem Trade

Amanda operates from Bangkok, giving the business direct proximity to the major gem trading centres of Thailand and the wider region. For clients sourcing stones independently, Amanda provides practical guidance on trusted suppliers. For clients who prefer a managed supply, Amanda can source to specification — with full traceability from point of purchase.

Cut Quality and Optical Performance

Cut quality determines how a stone performs in a finished piece. Amanda's in-house lapidary team works to verified cutting standards, with output assessed against proportion, symmetry, and polish criteria appropriate to the stone type. For diamonds, performance is evaluated using established grading references.

The Perfect Fit

Designing a complex channel or a seamless mosaic? We cut stones specifically for their final positions, so each piece fits with precision — no compromise on light or alignment.
